Public School, Sec-9A, Gurugram Date: 1 December 2025 Event: Presentation on World AIDS Day Class: IX Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response A special presentation was organized today for the students of Class IX to mark World AIDS Day, observed every year on 1st December. The theme for this year was “Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response.” The session aimed to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS, its causes, prevention, and the importance of showing compassion towards those affected. Students were informed about how timely treatment and awareness can help control the spread of the disease. The presentation also emphasized the need to fight against social stigma and discrimination related to AIDS. Teachers encouraged students to act as responsible and empathetic citizens by promoting awareness in society. Overall, the programme was informative and inspiring, helping students understand the global efforts being made to overcome the challenges of HIV/AIDS.
