    Event - Mother’s Day Celebration
    Date – 16th May, 2026
    On 16th May 2026, the students of Grades I to III celebrated Mother’s Day with heartfelt enthusiasm at Sh. S.N. Sidheshwar Sr. Sec. Public School, Gurugram. The programme began with the welcome of mothers, followed by the lighting of the lamp and a devotional Ganesh Vandana, setting a serene tone for the occasion.
    Children expressed their love through an English speech and a soulful Hindi poem, while cheerful activities like Guess the Song and a lively Hindi speech added variety. A graceful ramp walk and a vibrant dance performance by students brought smiles to all.
    The highlight of the celebration was the spontaneous dance participation by mothers, which created an atmosphere of joy and togetherness. The respected Principal Ma’am addressed the gathering, appreciating all the beautiful mothers present and emphasizing the indispensable role of mothers in shaping lives.
    The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks, leaving behind cherished memories and reaffirming the eternal bond of love, sacrifice, and guidance that mothers embody.

      Career Counselling Session
      On May 13, 2026, a Career Counselling Session was organised at Sh. S. N. Sidheshwar Sr. Sec. Public School, Sector-9A, Gurugram, sponsored by Hindustan Times. The session aimed to guide students regarding career planning, stream selection, and future opportunities.
      The resource person shared valuable insights about various career options and highlighted the importance of making informed decisions based on students’ interests, aptitude, and abilities. Students actively participated in the interactive session and got an opportunity to clarify their doubts related to different career paths and future prospects.
      The session helped students develop a better understanding of career choices and boosted their confidence in planning their future goals. Overall, the session proved to be highly informative, engaging, and beneficial for all the students.

        MAGIC SHOW
        Magic Show Conducted in School
        Date: 13 May, 2026
        Venue: School Auditorium
        A magical and entertaining show was conducted in our school auditorium on 13 May ,2026. The programme was organized by “The Times of India” for Newspaper Subscribers from Classes V to VIII to provide them with enjoyment and relaxation along with learning new tricks of observation and concentration.
        The magician arrived was the first Sikh magician of India in colourful attire and began the show with simple yet surprising tricks. He made coins disappear, pulled colourful ribbons out of an empty box, and even performed card tricks that amazed everyone. One of the most exciting moments was when he called a few students onto the stage to assist him in performing tricks. The audience clapped loudly and laughed with joy throughout the programme.
        The magician also explained that magic is based on practice, confidence, and presence of mind rather than supernatural powers. This message encouraged students to develop patience and creativity in their own lives.
        We thanked the magician for his wonderful performance and appreciated the organisers for arranging such an enjoyable event. The programme ended with cheerful smiles and unforgettable memories for all.

            Theme: Unity in Diversity – Exploring Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh
            An engaging and informative activity on Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh was conducted by Classes VI E and F as part of the ongoing three-day programme on Unity in Diversity. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, along with the encouraging presence of parents.
            Students worked collaboratively in groups to present the cultural heritage, geography, traditional attire, cuisine, monuments, and folk traditions of both states through creative PPTs and confident public speaking. Rajasthan’s royal heritage and vibrant culture, along with Madhya Pradesh’s rich history, diverse wildlife, and artistic traditions, were showcased effectively.
            The activity provided a valuable platform for students to enhance their confidence, communication, and teamwork skills. The Principal appreciated the sincere efforts of the students and teachers and acknowledged the valuable support of the parents.

              An engaging and informative activity on “Uttrakhand, Gujarat, and the Seven Sister States” was conducted by Classes VI C, D, and G on the second day of the three-day programme. Students worked collaboratively in groups to explore the culture, geography, attire, cuisine, monuments, and dance forms of these regions. Their presentations were delivered through well-prepared PPTs, reflecting creativity and confidence.
              Students highlighted Uttarakhand’s natural beauty and classical dance forms, the rich traditions and biodiversity of the Seven Sister States, and Gujarat’s vibrant culture, festivals, and heritage. The activity enhanced teamwork, confidence, and public speaking skills while ensuring active participation of all students.
              The Principal commended the students for their enthusiastic participation and insightful presentations, motivating them to continue exploring and celebrating the diverse heritage of India.

                  Today’s morning assembly was conducted with great enthusiasm and meaningful presentations by the students. The assembly beautifully highlighted two significant themes of the day.On the occasion of Labour Day, students expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the hardworking labourers who contribute immensely to our daily lives. Through thoughtful speeches and short stories, they acknowledged the dignity of labour and the importance of respecting every worker in society. The second highlight of the assembly was Buddha Purnima. Students spoke about the life and teachings of Lord Buddha, emphasizing values such as peace, compassion, and kindness. Their presentations inspired everyone to follow the path of truth and mindfulness in daily life.

The programme commenced with the traditional Charan Pakharna and Deepsikha, creating a sanctified ambience. Through the ritual of Charan Pakharna, children learnt the values of humility, respect, and gratitude towards elders, reinforcing the timeless lesson that reverence for grandparents is the foundation of family bonds.
                    Students captivated the audience with a melodious welcome song and a graceful Ganesh Vandana, followed by a thought‑provoking skit on family values. Joyful games like Pyramid, Ring, and Guess the Song added cheer, while a vibrant dance performance showcased youthful energy. The creative activity of Cooking Without Fire became a highlight, as grandmothers worked enthusiastically alongside their grandchildren, turning the event into a symbol of cooperation, love, and shared joy across generations.
                    The Principal Ma’am warmly interacted with the guests and shared inspiring words, while grandparents expressed heartfelt thoughts, enriching the occasion with wisdom and affection.
