"Nature is the foundation of life. Protecting it today ensures a better tomorrow."
To mark World Nature Conservation Day, a special morning assembly was conducted by the students of class VII with great enthusiasm and a strong commitment towards environmental conservation.
The assembly commenced with the ceremonial presentation of a sapling to our respected Principal Ma'am, symbolising hope, growth, and our shared responsibility to nurture Mother Earth. Students also showcased their creativity by preparing beautiful handmade nature-themed badges, reflecting their dedication and love for the environment.
The celebration featured inspiring speech, soulful English and Hindi poems, and a thought-provoking skit that highlighted the importance of conserving nature and using natural resources wisely. The inspiring address by our respected Principal Ma'am Ms Jagpreet Kaur motivated the students to adopt sustainable practices and become responsible custodians of our planet.
The assembly concluded with a collective pledge to protect nature and contribute towards building a cleaner, greener, and healthier future.

      *Sh. S.N. Sidheshwar Sr. Sec. Public School, Sec 9A , Gurugram Commemorates Kargil Vijay Diwas with Patriotic Zeal*
      The school commemorated Kargil Vijay Diwas with a special programme dedicated to honour the valour and sacrifice of the Indian Army. The event was graced by Lt. Col. R. K. Rao as the Chief Guest. Through a power-point presentation, the students of Class VIII highlighted the significance of Palampur's Kargil Shaheed Park. A thought-provoking skit depicting the story of the Kargil War, a heartfelt Hindi poem and a patriotic song filled the atmosphere with pride and patriotism.
      In his inspiring address, Lt. Col. R. K. Rao shared his experiences from military life and urged the students to uphold the values of discipline, dedication and patriotism. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by the School Principal, Ms. Jagpreet Kaur, who expressed her sincere gratitude to the Chief Guest, teachers, students and everyone who contributed to the success of the event. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired by the spirit of patriotism and the sacrifices of our brave soldiers.

        Van Mahotsav was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the students of Classes I to V. The occasion highlighted the importance of greenery and environmental conservation. A symbolic gesture was made when a sapling was presented to the Principal Ma'am as a token of love and respect.
        To deepen awareness, a PPT presentation was conducted showcasing the significance of plants and ways to protect our mother earth. Students actively participated by bringing various saplings and planting them in the school premises, thereby contributing to the mission of a greener environment.
        The celebration not only instilled ecological values among young learners but also encouraged them to take responsibility for nurturing nature. The event concluded with a collective pledge to safeguard the environment and promote sustainable living.
